Managing time has always been part of daily work and study, and many people look for simple ways to structure their day without adding complexity. Pomofocus is built around a time management practice that divides work into fixed intervals followed by breaks. The approach is commonly known as the Pomodoro Technique and is used to organise periods of focused activity and rest in a repeating cycle. Pomofocus works directly in a web browser and does not require installation. It allows a person to create a list of tasks for the day and associate each task with an estimated number of timed work sessions. Once a task is selected, a timer begins counting down a work interval. When the interval ends, the session stops and a break period follows. This cycle continues through the day, with longer breaks appearing after a set number of work sessions.
